Job Title: Project Manager Job Duration: 03 Months Job Location: TN23 1PP The post holder may be required to work at any establishment at any time throughout the duration of their contract, normally within the location of the CSU, or as set out under the terms of their contract. Travel will be required between NEL sites. Context of the role: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the competent management and delivery of one or more simultaneous projects. They will ensure value for money, responsiveness, competent management and communication of projects and thereby contributing to the professional standing of the project management team. Role specific duties and responsibilities: The post holder will undertake the following duties and responsibilities Business Focus  To ensure the competent management and delivery of one or more projects at any one time Customer Focus  Provide professional and proactive project management service to the customer base  To ensure the projects are delivered on time, on budget, with proactive communication re-projects and adherence to required standards and polices Delivery Focus  Delivery projects in compliance with agreed project management processes and procedures  Apply approved project management methodologies  Deliver commissioned projects within agreed budgets, quality timescales.  Deliver the projects so that they can be effectively handed over to ongoing IT support Leadership and Management  To actively contribute to the development of the ICT strategy  To keep abreast of developments in new technology and its implementation in order for best practice  Develop and maintain strong customer relationships pre, during and post project Developing a high performing commercial organisation  Assist relevant peers in planning and execution of system testing necessary for new and upgraded systems prior to release in the live environment to ensure continuity of service  Build harmonious and effective relationships producing a consistency high level of service  Flexibility to travel to meetings and other locations in order to fulfil the requirements of t he post
