Project Engineer Engineering Manufacturing Organisation Mechanical Engineering Graduate Advantageous Progression and Career Development Based in Ashford £28k - £33k Depending on Experience My client is an engineering specialist organisation who design and manufacture bespoke high-performance protective casings for industries such as the MOD, Military and Fire Service. They are looking for a driven and personable individual to join the team and help push the Projects from start to finish and along the way liaise with Engineers and Customers to ensure a smooth process. Project Engineer – Role Responsibilities: · A Mechanical Engineering Degree is preferred · Proven track record of delivering detailed and complex projects · Liaise with other departments such as Customer Service, Sales and Production · Build and maintain strong relationships with customers from first point of contact · Assisting with the design and design changes of new and existing products · Creating Bills of Materials – BOM’s · Communication with Engineers from other company sites across Europe · Understanding customer specifications · 3D CAD experience (Solidedge Preferred) Project Engineer – The Person: · Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred · Ability to quickly learn the technical aspects of the materials · Good communication skills · Hard working · Friendly personality This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89958663
