Overview

Role: Senior Software Product Support Engineer Location: Cambridge Salary: £50-60K plus benefits (flexible working arrangements, pension, private healthcare, life assurance, group income protection scheme, 25 days holiday and more) Senior Software Product Support Engineer : Proven experience with setting up and supporting cloud based installations (AWS ideal but Microsoft or Google cloud experience also considered) Complex multi-layered software product and technical environment diagnostics abilities Linux/Unix/Windows operating system configuration Network protocols including TCP/UDP/HTTP, managed network switches and DHCP Server and DNS configuration Ad-hoc coding in scripting languages useful Excellent communication skills Ability to work flexible hours for worldwide support, including calls later in the day for the US This is a varied and technically challenging global 3rd line Senior Software Product Support Engineer role working on a complex multi-layered enterprise software product in the Internet of Things space, playing an integral role, moving customers into the cloud. You should have strong software/hardware and network protocol diagnostics experience, ideally working for a software or hardware vendor, scripting skills, Unix/Linux/Windows experience and proven customer facing abilities.
