Overview

Data Security Manager role in Dublin, Ireland. Zest Optical are currently looking to recruit a Data Security Manager for a leading producer of Practice Management Software . The role will be based at the company head offices in Dublin. The Data Security Manager will join a busy IT and Operations team. This is an excellent permanent opportunity to work with various established teams and individuals with a strong chance of progression. Key responsibilities include: Create, maintain and implement security process and procedure to Achieve ISO 27001 certification. Maintain compliance with GDPR and HIPAA and actively improve privacy and security throughout various departments. Improve security operations and security visibility across all our environments. Answer customer security questionnaires and present security framework and initiatives to new customers. Work closely with IT and other teams to drive procedural integration and process adoption. Maintain technical ability to run security operations and act as a point of contact for the group regarding all security requirements. Centralise the management of all security-related environments in the Dublin office. Report to the company bi-monthly on security initiatives and projects. Perform and manage assessments against organisation; Risk, Gap, Third-party, Internal Audit, Vendor. The successful candidate will have experience of managing small to medium projects, with strong communication skills to liaise with product development and IT Teams. You will also need knowledge in Information/Cybersecurity: Strategy, Project Management, Architecture, ISMS, Security Operation Centre (SOC), Policies and Standards, Third-Party Risk, Network and Systems Security, Penetration Testing, Information Asset management and classification. You must be comfortable working in a technical environment, as the following technologies are utilised; Endpoint protection, IAM, SIEM, Firewalls (Palo Alto), IPS/IDS, VPN, DLP, eDiscovery, Spam Filtering, Threat Intelligence and Linux, Azure, SDLC, Agile, Networking, TCP/IP, FTP, SMTP, Web Apps.
