Engineering Labourer- Precision Engineering

Title: Engineering Labourer Location: Rotherham - easily accessible by public transport or free on site parking available Salary/Rate: £8.50ph- £9.00ph Shifts for this Engineering Labourer position: 40 hours per week 7.00am - 4.30pm Monday- Thursday and 7.00am-2.00pm Friday ,with a paid 15 min break and 30 minute lunch break Description: You will be joining a small reputable, established precision engineering company who manufacture parts for various industries, such as Motor sport, Oil and Gas and Manufacturing. They are currently looking for a full time addition to their team. You must be someone who is used to being busy and is a well organised team player with good communication skills. For this position, you must: 1.Ensure workshops and CNC machines are cleaned and maintained, as well as cleaning tanks and floors 2.Assist with housekeeping duties, including some DIY, repairs, painting and maintenance 3.Operate machinery (with instruction and training) 4.Previous experience in engineering environment desirable 5. At all times be committed to to fully comply with all Health and Safety and Engineering legislation 6. Be local and reliable 7. Carry out local deliveries in company van. This will include cleaning the vehicle and basic routine maintenance. 8. Oversee incoming deliveries and some dispatch duties. Taking care of an organised stock room. 9. Brazing, Carbide cleaning, cutting steel bars (training given) 10. Be competent, able to multi task and able to adapt to changing needs of the business.
