Overview
A highly innovative company who provide bespoke engineering solutions to complex manufacturing problems, is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to promote their digital products. The role will see you adapt a solution sales approach in selling digital products. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling and any of the following industries; Digital Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Automation and/or Machine Learning. Commutable from: Chesterfield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster Salary: Competitive salary Car Allowance Bonus Pension 25 days Holiday The Role The key responsibilities and objectives of the Business Development Manager would include: Launch the first Core Digital Products, generating significant levels of sales in 2020 Identify new applications for Core Digital Products Sales input to the New Product Introduction planning process Account Management for a broad range of customers Contribute to the sales strategy to achieve significant levels of growth Deliver profitable sales and account growth Identify and exploit opportunities for growth through digital innovation Develop growth plans with the customer Play an active role in supporting Customer Engagement teams Lead and support Engineers in the commercial and sales aspects of their role. Contribute to Marketing activities The Person The ideal candidate for the Business Development Manager position will have: Experienced sales person in a digital engineering/technical sales specialism. Must currently operate in, and have in depth knowledge of, digital manufacturing technologies, Industry 4.0, automation, artificial intelligence and/or machine learning.
