Overview

Our Client, a leading car manufacturer are currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a Used Car Sales Manager to join their business based out of their Sidcup Dealership. The Used Car Sales Manager has overall responsibly for the whole used car department, including managing the team, vehicle valuations, finance and stock management. As a Used Car Sales Manager , you will ensure that your team are motivated and focussed to achieve their targets, you will lead form the front 2nd facing and helping to stack deals daily as well as being in charge of all the used car stock. This role would suit a Used Car Sales Manager looking to grow their earning potential, or an experienced Sales/Transaction Controller looking for the next step up. About the role Managing a team of Sales Executives Appraising vehicles Giving an honest and transparent sales experience Meeting or exceeding targets based on sales, customer satisfaction and budget Establish and agree individual targets for your team members to ensure everyone is aligned to their responsibilities and personal development Ensure the sales team attend all company and manufacturer training when it’s needed Encourage, support and motivate the team, making it an enjoyable environment Appraise & Coach the team to maximise their potential and the department’s success Ensure Used Car stock is managed in accordance to our clients Used Car policy guidelines Regularly review all pricing policies and deals Review the costs and effectiveness of marketing spend regularly for the department Monitor performance daily across the team and individually Feed information to the team keeping them aware of day-to-day running aims, future plans, processes, systems and policies for a customer focused environment Decide what stock needs to be bought from our clients group buyer Present at internal meetings, providing updates to Senior Management on the department performance, target results and future plans Carry out other duties when needed at the Centre. i.e. General Sales Manager cover Be on hand to help 2nd face any customer Manage the used stock on Autotrader About you Be confident in dealing with wide range of customers Have an extensive knowledge of car sales – either new or used Managed and developed teams in previous roles Have excellent customer service and communication skills Have a hands on positive approach to every situation Hold a full UK driving licence Thrive under pressure Have a desire to succeed and over achieve About the company Excellent basic Salary Realistic and uncapped OTE £70,000 Bonus based on sales, customer service and profit Ability to progress through internal promotion Excellent benefits package, including pension, healthcare, and company car Flexible progression based on your career aspirations About our client Our client is a leading car automotive dealership in the UK specialising in Japanese brands, they currently employ over 500 people across 11 retail dealerships and are looking to expand even further.
