Overview

Lexus are currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a Used Car Sales Manager to join our business based out of our Sidcup dealership. As a Used Car Sales Manager , you will be ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the Used Car Sales Department . You will be in charge of managing and selling the Used Car stock, pricing, 2nd facing customers and the forecourt display. You must be able to work well in set processes and be happy to help the Sales Executives with the final close. You must be a natural people person who can build great relationships with customers, manufacturer partners and colleagues. This role would be ideal for a Transaction/Sales Controller looking for their first step into management, or an experienced Used Car Sales Manager looking to increase their OTE in a prestige brand. What we Need Carry out other duties when needed at the Centre. i.e. General Sales Manager cover Be on hand to help 2nd face any customer Ensure the sales team attend all company and manufacturer training when it’s needed Appraise & Coach the team to maximise their potential and the department’s success Be involved directly with customers on a daily basis ensuring every customer is completely satisfied Train and motivate staff to deliver the best possible service to make our customer’s happy Resolve all customer complaints by following team procedures and regain customer satisfaction Ensure Used Car stock is managed in accordance to Jemca’s Used Car policy guidelines i.e. turned over within the specified period Manage and review the working capital for the Used Car department i.e. ensuring debtors & creditors are managed effectively and keeping within your working capital budget guidelines Ensure the auction disposal process is adhered to for all trade vehicles Manage the Used Car showroom displays ensuring the presentation of each vehicle is immaculate. Monitor the daily financial performance of the department and take corrective action when needed Monitor and maintain effective cost control for the department Regularly review the department’s debt status and react with actions when needed Control the invoicing procedure to ensure accuracy on all sales Regularly review all pricing policies and deals Develop and operate advertising and promotional activities alongside the Sales department marketing plan Look after the process of advertising the used car stock i.e. Auto trader etc Monitor performance daily across the team and individually Ensure the team follows the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) standards so all finance products that are sold meet the guidelines Control what stock we have on site and liaise with the Group buyer on what stock to buy Review and comply with the Toyota Great Britain manufacturer’s standards Your Skills Be an effective manager who leads from the front Have an extensive knowledge of the Used cars and the process that follows Have excellent customer service and communication skills Proven track record in Used Sales within the automotive sector Have experience working within the Automotive industry specifically within the Used Car department Hold a full UK driving licence Thrive under pressure and have a desire to succeed What we offer Excellent basic Salary Realistic and uncapped OTE Ability to progress through internal promotion Excellent benefits package, including pension, healthcare, and Car scheme Flexible progression based on your career aspirations Company Car Fun, friendly working environment Lexus specific training About our business Jemca Car Group is one of the UKs largest Toyota and Lexus dealerships, employing over 500 employees across sites in Greater London and Thames Valley.
