Having recently expanded in terms of both new business and acquisitions, this leading consultancy is renowned for combining expertise, insight and in providing independent investment advice to defined benefit and defined contribution institutional pension schemes As they embark further a rapid expansion programme, their Investment Consulting Division within their London office is now looking to recruit an additional Senior Investment Consultant who will excel in this advisory role. With full responsible for all aspects of the management of a portfolio clients, you will: Lead these client relationships in order to provide advice that will allow you to use your technical skills to develop innovative solutions, whilst effectively delivering the advice they require. Build strong relationships with your clients and work with those trustees of companies to help solve their investment/risk management challenges; Design innovative investment strategies including growth portfolio design, liability hedging portfolios and cash flowing matching portfolios; Lead the delivery of advice at client meetings and helping clients decide what action to take; Lead research teams to undertake idea or manager research to help us buy and implement ideas to solve our clients’ problems. Support new business activities including production of tender submissions and attendance at pitches to articulate our proposition. Mentor junior members of team to develop the skills to help them realise their potential As someone who is certified to advise on investments under Senior Manager Certification Regime, with direct experience of providing investment consultancy to UK pension schemes and someone who is unafraid to express a view and can express their view clearly, thereby contributing to the investment ideas and contributing to the ongoing debate that influences their future direction.
