Overview
Working for a growing and forward thinking business, based in the heart of Newmarket. This is a busy and involved role that will suit someone who is well organised and proactive with previous experience of working within an Accountancy firm. Duties will include preparing monthly and quarterly accounts for our clients which include a P&L, Balance Sheet and detailing against the budget. In addition to this the successful candidate will be required to complete the accounts using the bookkeeping records, review of the bookkeeping and making amendments if necessary. In addition to this you will be responsible for general reconciliations including Bank, VAT, Cash and Wages and dealing with accruals and prepayments and the necessary journal entries. Any experience of using Xero Accounting Software would also be an advantage.
