Purpose of Role Lead the Hotel Operations Team to consistently deliver an outstanding guest experience, through leading the effective execution of the operational strategy; nurturing, inspiring and valuing our People, and delivering and exceeding all targets, including revenue and EBITDA. This will include to: 1. Lead your team by example the Artfarm Values and our Way of Working. 2. Develop and deliver the Artfarm and Hotel Strategy. 3. Deliver consistently an outstanding guest experience through leading and managing all operational functions. 4. Support contribute and lead as appropriate other activities in respect of external and internal events. 5. Develop and sustain positive working relationships with suppliers, partners, key stakeholders and in particular the Hauser & Wirth Gallery. 6. Deliver and exceed People Engagement Targets. 7. Deliver and exceed Guest Experience Targets. 8. Deliver and exceed Revenue and EBITDA targets. 9. Ensure compliance in respect of legal and Company Governance Framework. Particularly Health, Safety, Security, and Sustainability. 10. Ensure sufficient competent resources are in place at all times. 11. Develop and execute on-boarding and training plans and conduct appraisals for the team aligned to the Artfarm Inspire Strategy. 12. Develop individuals and promote the creative and learning opportunities and experiences throughout the team. 13. Work with all operational and enabling functions to drive our values, consistently improve the guest experience, promote as an Employer of Choice. 14. Attend all training as required. 15. Lead and contribute to the promotion of employee engagement. 16. Promote our sustainability ethos and deliver on targets. 17. Lead organisational and systems changes. Manage the day to day running of the hotel ensuring the quality of service is of the highest standard and adhering to the company values and procedures 18. Act as Deputy General manager 19. Be a visible presence throughout the hotel for staff and guests 20. Manage the operational departments, setting targets and holding the Heads of Department accountable to ensure that the hotel financial targets are achieved and surpassed 21. Bring their creative contribution to innovate the product and constantly enhance the guest experience 22. Ensure that all our staff, from the moment of their on-boarding, experience our unique hospitality and continuous learning. Contribute to maintaining their motivation supporting the People department and the Wellbeing Manager. 23. Become active part of the community and support the GM in all community and cultural programme events.
