If so, we have just registered the ideal role for you Working within a hospitality/ leisure business, you will need an inquisitive mindset that ensures you look beyond the numbers to challenge how to effectively use the information produced by the Finance Function. Being mentored by an extremely engaging Financial Controller and successful, hard-working, driven Senior Leadership Team, you will be a like-minded, quick learner who can adapt to constantly developing market forces and projects. You will be working with a this well-known, highly respected brand within their market and you will be responsible for all financial processes, controls, management accounts, reporting and data analysis for the business Duties include: • Hands-on experience producing management accounts and reviewing/managing financial processes • Managing a transactional finance team • A true business partnering approach across the Company, demonstrating strong commercial and analytical acumen • Preparing and presenting financial reports and opinions clearly to both financially astute and non-financial senior stakeholders both internally and externally • Possible financial system integration • Delivering weekly reporting and analysis of the Company’s performance to the SLT/Board • Completing monthly P&L and Balance Sheet Management Accounts, prepare commentary against budgets and forecasts and reviewing with the management team • Assisting management in improving the profitability of their business, challenging where required and constantly monitoring costs • Regularly reviewing procedures and team members to identify opportunities for improvement • Supporting year end audit and dealing directly with external auditors • Strong excel skills You will be dynamic, motivated, entrepreneurial and personable with a 'can-do’ and hard-working approach.
