Finance Manager & Senior Finance Business Partner Canary Wharf £65-80,000 base plus 15% bonus potential & excellent package Our client is a global leading Financial Technology (FinTech) business that’s going through an exciting period of change. They’re currently seeking to bring a talented Finance Manager / Senior Business Partner into their organisation, in a highly commercial and business partnering orientated opportunity supporting a key division of their Investment & Advisory area that represents $1.6B global business in annual revenuefor the organisation. The role is responsible for providing high quality financial support and actionable information on key metrics to the business. The individual will work alongside proposition teams to understand the underlying drivers of business performance and enable them to prioritize investment decisions. This is a pivotal role in supporting the business with the formulation and execution of business strategy, managing and forecasting operating expenses to deliver profitable growth, assisting the business to develop business cases for continued investment and evaluating M&A opportunities. They require an individual with strong commercial mind, analytical, and communication skills; we need someone who is comfortable presenting to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. In addition, the individual must have a strong background in financial modelling and solid understanding of corporate finance theory. Responsibilities: Business Decision Support Manages the day to day data request and business analysis need of the business unit Work with business leads to develop business cases: understand value drivers, construct financial models with growth drivers and investment costs, and conduct investment return analysis Collaborate with horizontal teams (Sales and Account Management, Product Management, Technology, Customer Operations) to validate investment case assumptions Participate in development of the annual investment planning and strategic planning process for the business unit, detailing revenue, operating and capitalized expense expectations, along with supporting strategic and tactical plans Financial Reporting and Analysis Analyze and interpret financial information pertaining to the Investing & Advisory business unit's performance Develop relevant financial metrics and KPIs to help business to effectively and accurately track and measure results Streamline monthly reporting and analysis to provide the business with timely view of financial results Maintain and update monthly expenses tracking model and assist in monthly expenses analysis and annual budget process Help ensure timely analysis of business performance and all reporting deliverables within the unit, and to central finance team Assist in the annual planning processes for the business unit Contribute to ad-hoc analysis for Management Qualifications: A minimum of five years of experience working in corporate finance or FP&A roles within a large, complex global organization Qualified Accountant with 3-8 years post-qual experience, and a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Working knowledge of the financial services or banking industry and software development processes is preferred, but not essential Knowledge of sales, pricing and revenue in software and services environment preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Working experience with financial data systems absolutely required Demonstrated ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment managing multiple priorities Strong financial modeling, analytical skills and strong attention to detail Proactive, self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work on own projects and deliverable Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable leading discussions and being in front of groups This is a genuinely excellent career opportunity to join a market leading global business in the cutting-edge industry of the FinTech world, please apply to find out more.
