Telephone Counsellor

Telephone Based Counsellor £20,178 Full Time Sunderland We are currently recruiting for telephone based Mental Health Counsellors to work within a charitable organisation in the Newcastle & Sunderland areas. Working on a full time basis the role will be taking calls from people suffering with their Mental Health, offering empathetic and compassionate advice, whilst remaining calm and helpful at all times. Calls will come from people in crisis, as well as those who have access to online CBT and IAPT. Your role will be to assess the level of crisis the person is experiencing and ensure the best possible outcomes for that person. Communication, negotiation and confidence handling mental health cases over the phone will be vital to your success in this role.
