Senior Network Engineer Job Bath, BA1 1RT | £65,000 - £75,000 | Permanent | Full Time This is an opportunity to join a firm that rewards high performers with progression potential and opportunities to get involved globally. We are working with a large venture Capital Firm who are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to work in their Data Centre in Bath, managing the disaster recovery implementation and day to day functions. There will be opportunities to input into the system, working with staff to design and implement the best practices. Technical Knowledge Experience in a data centre environment Lan/Wan, VLANS, CISCO, Firewalls, Switches, Routers, Cisco IP Telephony Desirable: Ploalto, Fire eye, F5, IPAM, ACI Job Profile of a Senior Network Engineer 6 years experience in Network and Security Responsible for documentation and topology maps of all network devices Able to communicate ideas both technically and in a user-friendly manner Manage day to day functions and respond to any unauthorized network activity. Best practice with network infrastructure maintenance, installation and support Qualifications Bachelor’s degree level in Computer Science or equivalent.
