Overview
Our client, a leading Solicitors based on the outskirts of Moreton, are looking for a Conveyancing Paralegal to join their Lender Finance / Bridging team. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and legal support to the Fee Earners in the team with their caseload of bridging, buy to let mortgages for our lender clients. Responsibilities Supporting Fee Earners with the day to day running of files Review and draft routine legal documents Create and maintain case files Conduct legal research Registering applications on Companies House Dealing with enquiries from Companies House and Land Registry, as necessary Issuing security documentation Handling completion monies Preparing invoices and ensuring all fees are accounted for prior to completion Reporting on title upon completion Dealing with post-completion work, such as redemptions, consent to lease, s106 approval and so forth. Qualifications Experience as a legal secretary or assistant or paralegal Preferable 1 years' experience in similar role or conveyancing Bachelor’s degree of Paralegal certificate is preferred Key Skills Knowledge of conveyancing or finance legal practice is a plus Solid written and verbal communication skills are needed Ability to be proactive and handle a busy workload Ability to perform well under pressure and work to tight deadlines Ability to handle a fast-paced working environment The above list of duties is not an exhaustive list and may be amended from time to time.
