Client Details Page Personnel are recruiting an Assistant Accountant for a well known retail business with key finance offices based in Leeds city centre. Description As an Assistant Accountant, you will be reporting in to a qualified accountant, responsible for assisting with the production of month end reports for use across the business. Duties will include, however are not limited to, general ledger reconciliations and analysis, managing the fixed asset register, posting journals to include accruals and prepayments, spend vs forecast analysis and variance analysis. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA to join a fast paced organisation in a commercial and relevant month end role. Profile The successful candidate will: Have worked in a relevant accounts assistant/assistant accountant role previously Be actively studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA Have excellent verbal and written communication skills Have strong Excel skills Job Offer £22,000 - £25,000 full AAT/ACCA/CIMA study support 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) pension scheme walking distance from public transport links parking also available excellent development opportunities
