Account Manager - Barnet - £26k - Education Penguin Recruitment is proudly sourcing for 2x Account Managers to join one of the most prestigious IT Solution-based organisations in the UK. Our client specialises in the supply of end-to-end IT Infrastructure Solutions specifically into the Public Sector and large market shares in Education, MOD, Central Government, Local Councils and NHS based accounts. Boasting a market-leading profile spanning 3x decades, our client has cemented business partnerships with VM Ware, Microsoft, HP, Toshiba, OKI and many more. Account Managers will align themselves with key contracts within Education Sectors to drive and develop new business relations to continually identify new business opportunities and develop a portfolio of business from scratch. Account Managers will be expected to "hunt" down new business through a consultative approach and effective use of business contacts where it will be expected a majority of their time will be spent internally with some client visits. To apply candidates will require 1-2 years NEW BUSINESS sales experience working for an IT Reseller, VAR or Systems Integrator selling in to Schools, Colleges and Academy accounts and have a list of contacts they are able to target in a new position. Account Managers will ideally have a knowledgeable background of working within key framework agreements and understand necessary processes to penetrate new organisations and departments - however not essential.
