Overview
Our client are currently looking for full stack developers to help create new products, features and maintain our existing platform. Working in a small team you will be writing both front end and back end code in a variety of frameworks and technologies. Using a variety of technologies including Backbone, Vue, Angular, CreateJS and Phaser on the FrontEnd with NodeJS and PHP powering our back end and usingTesting tools such as Mocha and PHPUnit Job Tasks: •Working with the design team to code new front-end features in Javascript. •Writing and maintaining web services in NodeJS (Swagger and GraphQL). •Maintaining existing code in a variety of frameworks including Yii/PHP, BackboneJS, AngularJS and CreateJS. •Customizing content management sites written in Python using Wagtail •Working with databases MySQL and MongoDB. •Writing units tests using Mocha and PHPUnit. Skills and Qualities Required: •Must have at least three years professional development experience. •Must have solid experience with JavaScript, ideally with VueJS or a similar framework. •Must have solid experience writing server-side code, ideally in PHP or NodeJS. Some Python experience is a plus. •Experience of canvas libraries such as CreateJS or PhaserJS is highly desirable. •Must have experience working with SQL databases. Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is a big plus. •Must have experience using a source control system, ideally GIT. •Experience writing unit tests is highly desirable. •Must have excellent communication skills If you are interested or would know of anyone who may be suitable for the role please don't hesitate to get in touch.
