Fire Safety and Compliance Technician

Role: - Fire & Building Safety Compliance Technician - North West The Company You could become part of a service provider who are looking to add a Fire Safety & Compliance Technician to their team in the North West Area ideal locations are Manchester & Liverpool working as part of a team working on a variety of contracts & accounts. The Position The position will involve travelling around the North West and surrounding areas to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance requirements for life and building safety systems. In addition, you will be responsible for: Working as a key part of the Mobile Team undertaking Building Fabric duties across the North of England Carrying out routine tasks as defined by Planned Preventative Maintenance including Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements. Undertaking maintenance and repairs including but not limited to fire doors, inspections of dry risers, fire compartmentation surveys, fire dampers, extinguishers and fire blankets. Undertaking Fire Stopping remedial works to bring existing installations up to regulatory standards. Could this be for you? NVQ 2 Diploma in Assoc. Ind. Services Occupation - Passive Fire Protection Blue Skilled Workers CSCS card Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building systems designed to protect life and assets Qualification relating to a Fabric Maintenance trade e.g. Carpentry Why apply?
