Overview
Scientific Team Leader Our client is an innovative and exciting research focussed company who are working to develop immune-therapies and cell based assays. They offer the chance to work at the forefront of emerging technologies. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced Immunology Scientist / Cell Biologist looking to lead a successful and expanding team of research scientists. They will be responsible for the project management of RD projects and the line management of a growing research team. The successful candidate will have strong technical experience in assay development techniques and a thirst for utilising the knowledge acquired through their research to the complex challenges of immunotherapy and cell based therapy development. Qualifications / Experience Essential PhD (or equivalent) in immunology/ cell biology or related discipline Strong proven assay design and development skills Minimum 5 years postdoctoral experience is preferred Experience with most of the following assays is preferred; in vitro assays, flow cytometry, western blot, immunocytochemistry. Previous supervisory/ training/ line management experience is preferred Ability to manage projects and work at a strategic level Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to work well under pressure and to challenge timelines Strong written and oral communication skills, fluency in written and oral English If you are interested in applying for this role please click apply now Harris Lord is acting as an employment agency for this role.
