Overview
Claims Handler required to join a highly respected, national, insurance broker due to internal growth. As Claims Handler you will be required to join the existing claims team and manage claims from start to finish for a range of commercial clients, whilst providing occasional support to other members of the team. You will advise clients on how to make claims, log new notifications, and update all records accurately on the system. On a daily basis you will liaise with You will liaise with Insurers, Loss Adjusters, Surveyors and internal colleagues, and keep the client informed on the progress of the claim. It is important for this role, that you can bring some previous experience of managing insurance claims, preferably EL & PL. Insurance broking experience would also be advantageous. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are the other key skills for this role, along with the ability to , the ability to deal with customers calmly and sympathetically.
