Overview

Maintenance Engineer job based in West Sussex paying up to £38k per annum Your new company You will be working for a leading steel stock holding business that has been established for more than 150 years. Our client has their own distribution business with over 25 locations up and down the UK. Your new role Your new role will be to provide support to all mechanical and electrical engineering aspects of the company's manufacturing equipment and facility services, this will include planned and reactive maintenance. Fault finding, prevention and repair of equipment. Machinery you will be working on but is not limited to, shot blasters, saws, presses, lasers, drive shafts, CNC machinery and machine tools. What you'll need to succeed To succeed you will need to be passionate and driven and have the confidence to offer development of processes and making recommendations on potential improvements. Essential skills for this job are a HNC in Electrical Maintenance Engineering, a time served apprenticeship, experience working in machinery maintenance or a heavy industrial background, experience of CNC machines and equipment and a background in fault finding.
