Overview
Do you have experience in outsourced accounting? We have a vacancy for an Accountant to join a well-established practice at its office in Putney SW15, to work within the outsourcing department providing high quality accounting services to a range of SME UK and international clients. Reporting to the Outsourcing Partner, as Accountant with a portfolio of clients, you will have the following responsibilities: Preparation of management accounts with complex reporting requirements and strict deadlines Using a variety of accounting software packages (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) Day to day client and parent company liaison working at the Putney office and client premises Review of junior team members work Cash management and preparation of cash flows and budgets, liaison with banks Preparation of VAT returns and VAT Advice Liaison with payroll department regarding wages, pensions and deductions Employee matters - pensions, insurance, medical Liaising with external auditors and general practice department Managing own priorities and those of Assistant on hour by hour basis Candidate requirements for this role are: ACCA/ACA qualified with a minimum of three years’ experience outsourcing within a UK practice Detailed knowledge of MS Office packages with advanced Excel skills; Sage, Xero and QuickBooks experience would be an advantage Comprehensive bookkeeping and management accounts experience including inter-company and foreign currency People management experience Preferably have experience with cash management, cash flow and budgets, payroll and pensions Liaising with auditors This firm will offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package, a friendly, supportive working environment.
