Overview
A small well established, very homely, friendly and caring Residential Dementia Care Home based in Welwyn Garden City, seeks an experienced Care Assistant & a Senior Care Assistant to work nights. You must be very caring, kind and respectful and have experience of providing personal care and hygiene, incontinence care and the experience of manual handling. Senior Care Assistant - Nights Up to £10.00 per hour - dependant on experience Welwyn Garden City (AL8) Night shifts (8pm to 8am) Residential Dementia Care Home Fully CQC Compliant Ideal candidate will have: Preferably NVQ2 or NVQ3 in Health and Social Care Experience in providing personal care and hygiene, Experience of administering medication is essential Good Senior who can organise, mentor and supervise a team of Care Assistants Knowledge of Moving & Handling, Infection control, updating care plans, knowledge of Safeguarding, DOLS and Mental Capacity Act Experience of working with Care Home is important Key Benefits of the Senior Care Assistant - Nights role Regular Training Competitive rate of pay Review after probationary period Full time contract and extra hours available during holidays and sickness You can gain knowledge and experience from working with a strong management team Beautiful, small Residential Care Home and you will be part of a friendly, caring team Pension scheme available.
