Overview
My client near Hereford is looking for a Sous Chef for their authentic Thai Restaurant. This will be a working week of no more than 45 hours, Salary of upto £26,000 per annum, dependent on experience Tips and staff benefits on top (such as staff discount and meals on duty) This is a perfect role for a Junior Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie to take on their first Sous Chef position. You will be expereinced and proficient in Thai cuisine, able to work from a fresh base product and undertsand authentic, traditional ingredients and recipes. You will be able to work alone and as part of a small team. Presentation is key and you should have an eye for detail. You will have experience of dealing with Environmental Heath and willl have an excellent track record of maintaining clean and hygenically safe kitchens. As the Sous Chef you will be reporting into the Head Chef and will be supporting them in all of their duties, including stock takes, kitchen hygenie, and creating specials and supporting with the menu.
