Overview
Server & Applications Support Officer - 3 Month Contract - London - �25ph Umbrella (Inside IR35) We have an exciting opportunity for a Server & Applications Support Officer to join the team of a public sector organisation within London. Your duties and responsibilities will include: Routine performance monitoring of servers and associated software Undertaking action to investigate and resolve known errors Undertaking routine tasks associated with the backup operation of servers and their data over virtual and physical platforms Undertake business application support within their team Undertake work to resolve requests for support received from the ICT Service Desk Undertake investigation of issues relating to applications using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques and seek guidance on their resolution as necessary Undertake work to configure business applications to meet service and user requirements under the direction of their supervisor To be suitable for this opportunity; the following qualifications or experience is required: Proven experience within an ICT client services environment ideally with supervisory responsibilities Demonstrable success of supporting ICT infrastructure and servers Good understanding of the procedures and process involved in installing, maintaining and disposal of servers and ICT infrastructure Excellent understanding of multiple hardware and software platforms Good understanding of diagnostic tool and techniques required to investigate ICT infrastructure issues Good understanding of change management practices in an ICT environment For further information and to apply then please contact Deanna at STR on 02392322381 and email a copy of your most recent CV to dhigginsstrgroup.co.uk strgroup is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
