Senior Structural Engineer Leeds £35,000-£45,000 AB304 This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our client at their busy office in Leeds - they are ideally looking for someone with over six years' experience in the relevant sector. About the company Our client is a vibrant and progressive consultancy of structural designers in central Leeds; their well-organised resource base means an excellent service is delivered reliably thus giving a solid reputation to the company. The office environment is characterised as a "vibrant and progressive consultancy practice of structural design engineers". In order to be considered for this role as a Senior Structural Engineer, you will; Have a degree in either civil or structural engineering (2:1 or above) Demonstrate at least six years' experience as a structural engineer Be already Chartered (preferred) You will have experience in managing, supervising and leading more junior engineers You will have strong inter-personal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills What will be expected of the successful Senior Structural Engineer? You will liaise with technicians and other members of the team to produce drawings and designs to high quality expectations You will ensure that all projects are delivered both on time and within budget constraints As your experience develops, you will mentor graduates and more junior technicians, offering support to develop their skills. You will carry out site visits, site inspections as well as attending client meetings and representing the company You will be encouraged to actively participate in Business Development and/ or company Systems Development Benefits for the successful candidate will include a full benefits package and a competitive salary.
