Overview: CodeConsult is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer/System Engineer to work with a company based in Warwick (regular home working offered), the kind of company that is RELENTLESSLY driven when it comes to new/emerging tech They’re currently growing, aided primarily by numerous lucrative contract wins (and are well on their way to reaching the £1billion turnover mark). There is a huge focus on investing and developing the skillsets of their tech teams, as well as the opportunity to progress and cross-train skillsets with additional training and research budgets already signed off Requirement and Key Skills (all not essential): We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer/System Engineer that has extensive knowledge and experience of supporting Microsoft Windows Server environments - 2012 R2, 2016, 2019 operating systems, VMWare 6.x vSphere hypervisor, NetApp FAS SAN storage, Server provisioning and PowerShell Scripting for automation. Exposure to Azure Cloud or a similar provider would be advantageous. Key skills include (all not essential): VMWare vSphere v6.x Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019 Microsoft Active Directory Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager Microsoft Office 365 Microsoft Visio McAfee EPO Windows Security Patching Security Information and Event Management Platforms (SIEM) Veeam backup and replication Cloud Technologies – Azure, AWS or similar NetApp FAS SAN Storage Microsoft SQL 2016/2017 SQL Database Certification Authority Dell PowerEdge, Cisco UCS, HP ProLiant Compute Platforms Cisco Network Integration Package: The salary on offer for the successful IT Infrastructure Engineer/System Engineer is up to £55,000.
