Overview
Accountable recruitment has partnered up with a large retail organisation based in Speke. Role is commutable via train, bus or car but the role does offer free secure parking. In this role you will be a senior Accounts Assistant for the organisation and you will be relied upon by your line manager to motivate yourself and team in their absence and ensure deadlines / reports are met. The role is really looking for somebody who is able to hit the ground running and is able to supervise and co-ordinate when the Finance manager. Duties will include checking invoices, gaining the correct sign off and coding ready to be processed by Central Finance at head office and checking the Weekly KPI data produced through payroll. The role will also include collating weekly costing data together to be included in the weekly forecast and also checking the accounts / preparing of monthly journals to be sent to Central finance. General duties which include month end reconciliations, deal with any invoice queries and investigate and explain variances in the management accounts. Experience within excel and accounting systems is needed. This position is a Full-Time permanent position and pays a salary from £20,000 - £25,000 per annum dependant on experience.
