£50,000 - £55,000 p/a | 42 Hour Contract - Days | Nurse or Non-Nurse Manager Considered | Elderly & Dementia Home - Good CQC A small Surbiton nursing home has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Care Home Manager with a background in elderly care to lead the team and develop the service. The 40 bedded home offers elderly frail, dementia and disability care in a home from home setting in a quiet residential area and is family owned and operated. Details of this Registered Home Manager position and what the home is offering: A permanent contract of 42 hours per week, usually working flexible day shifts but with some flexibility required due to the seniority of the role A competitive annual salary in the region of £50,000 to £55,000 depending on experience A workplace pension scheme with 5% matched contributions and a death in service scheme As CQC Registered Manager, you will coordinate and oversee the day to day running of the home, ensuring a cost-effective and efficient service that doesn’t compromise on quality of care or life. You will deliver effective clinical leadership and line management to the clinical and non-clinical teams in addition to managing budgets and resources. Applications will be considered from nurse and non-nurse qualified Home Managers and applicants should meet the following criteria: NMC registered Adult Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN OR have successfully completed a recognised management qualification such as NVQ Level 4, Diploma Level 5 or the Registered Managers Award Demonstrate proven experience in the management of a UK nursing home A strong leader and able to motivate, lead and support clinical and non-clinical staff Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of CQC essential standards and all legislation relevant to a UK nursing home Financially aware and able to manage and adhere to budgets If you are interested and would like more information, please call James Grice at SYK Recruitment now.
