Join Three Valleys Hospital as an Activity Coordinator where you will manage social and recreation actives, you will be the reasons why lives change for the better. Reporting directly to the Senior Occupational Therapist/Activity Coordinator Lead, you will be responsible for developing a rapport with service users to encourage them to participate in their interests and activities. For service users who have reduced contact with relatives and friends, you will encourage social recreation. You will be a valued member of the team and will be supported to reach your career goals. You will have access to a variety of Elysium benefits and training courses to support you reach your full potential as an integral member of the Three Valleys Hospital team Role - Activity Coordinator Location - Keighley, West Yorkshire Salary - £18,544 Hours - 37.5, Full-Time Your responsibilities Co-ordinate social and recreational activities for people both on the ward and in the community, ensuring they meet their interests to ensure meaningful activity engagement. Encourage social recreation for those with reduced contact with relatives and friends To obtain information from service users regarding their social and recreational interests To observe general behaviour, ability, and the response of service users and report back regularly using verbal and written communications to appropriate team members Under supervision document observations and progress in the patients' clinical notes To fulfil the security requirements of the service and adhere to service policies, guidelines, and procedures Accompany Clients to off-site activities. In need (and where qualified) be available to drive the company vehicle for activity outings as directed. There are a range of services across five wards - including a specialist dementia service - where you'll gain experience working with gender-specific distinct rehabilitation and step-down services.
