Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time (37.5 per week) Salary: £25,715 per annum JOB OVERVIEW We are seeking a Student Experience Officer to join our team at Bellerbys College London to lead on delivering excellent services to students throughout their academic journey to contribute to their success and promote the highest standards of quality, efficiency and customer care in all matters relating to student services. This post may be required to work some weekends/bank holidays at peak arrival periods KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Represent the College and coordinate visits from agents, stakeholders and families and support Say Hello Campaigns and other social media campaigns for prospective and new students Work with the Estates Team to ensure rooms are ready to receive visitors and new arrivals and check in new students To contribute to the organisation of induction for new students and associated arrival activities Monitor student arrivals, departures and changes, accommodation changes, and extensions Coordinate communication to students including email and social media campaigns, leaflet drops, information screens and the student intranet pages (on StudySmart) Work as a Progress Coach and hold residence meetings for over 18s in the Student Halls of Residence Identify and secure opportunities for student to benefit from services and discounts in the local area and deliver information about private renting and working in the UK as required to students EXPERIENCE Previous experience of working in a role serving discerning clients, resolving problems or handling customer complaints and meeting their needs Proven experience of successfully imparting information and advice to speakers of other languages to ensure understanding Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills Highly developed thinking skills which show initiative and ability to apply systematic thinking Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines and manage own time effectively Strong ICT skills to use systems effectively to produce reports and record information, including database and creating presentations and social media Highly developed skills in planning and organising events/activities Effective understanding of how to capture, measure, interpret and use feedback effectively to improve services Educated to NVQ level 3 or A level Customer Services Training or occupational qualifications or training KEY BENEFITS Competitive salary 25 days holiday Enhanced pension scheme, season ticket loans, cycle to work scheme, Wellbeing centre, and much more.
