Overview

My client a Prestige Audi & VW approved Accident Repair Centre in North London are currently looking to recruit a Reception Manager / Customer Service Manager. Experience within gained from either a Motor Trade or Insurance background is essential and would be most desirable for the client. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate and experience. Essential Attributes ·Numerate and literate to the level required and able to communicate professionally ·Positive, focused self-starter Job Description ·Answering, dealing and/or transferring incoming telephone calls to the business · Qualifying all new customer enquiries to ensure the appropriate service is provided · Identifying and explaining suitable claims and repair solutions with and for our retail customers ·Meeting/greeting in person - customers, engineers or visitors to the premises ·Inputting all new enquiries onto the Database Management System, including adding new notes and sending emails (Autoflow) ·Liaising with our business partners, subcontractors, insurance companies and loss adjusters ·Taking part and actioning outcomes of daily team meetings ·Updating customers and stakeholders with regards to progress of repairs and status of claims ·Planning and organising vehicle collection/delivery journeys to/from customers and subcontractors ·Taking payment from customers (PDQ/BACS) ·Arranging insurance for customers using our courtesy cars ·Managing the company social media platforms (e.g. Facebook) Evidence ·We will be looking for evidence of clear communication skills (oral, written and comprehension) ·Computer literacy and proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Exel ·Ability to request and sort necessary information relating to key tasks ·Superior organization skills and excellent customer feedback Desirable (this knowledge/skills can be taught if necessary) ·Understand the insurance claims process, indemnity and negligence, quantum and liability, aspects of insurance law, contract law. ·Be proficient in the Centre's DMS which is called Autoflow. Knowledge of Audatex and Kerridge would be advantageous. ·Be able to identify damage (primary and secondary), appraise damage, price up /estimate repairs, and recommend appropriate repair methods using manufacturer data. ·Understand detailed vehicle layout, function and location of components parts. To understand vehicle construction and systems, repair methodology, and be able to identify parts and understand/use correct terminology. Up-to-date knowledge of relevant vehicle legislation and roadworthiness, and understand salvage categorization.
