Financial Controller Walsall £40,000 - £60,000 Bonus, Company Car, Share Options Permanent MPR Recruitment Limited have recently been engaged by our client, an SME business in the Walsall area, as they seek to add a Financial Controller to their Team. This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to make a real and direct commercial difference to the business. Working closely with the Directors, the Financial Controller will be a key finance leader within the company. Duties of Financial Controller: Ownership of the P&L, balance sheet, cash flow/turnover Month and year end duties Commercial analysis to support operational colleagues Forecasting to improve future revenue visibility / opportunity Establishing robust accountancy and administration improvements Business partnering the operations team in order to improve revenue Boardroom credibility at senior level Driving overhead reduction initiatives by bench-marking cost internally and externally to drive revenue and maximisation initiatives Debt control Conduct regular account reviews with stakeholders Challenge assumptions and processes in order to deliver continuous improvement across the business Influence and challenge stakeholder decision making in order to maximise profit Strategic planning with stakeholders to improve revenue and drive growth Attend client meetings and deliver data driven detail This Financial Controlleris a hugely exciting role for the ideal candidate and offers a genuine opportunity to become part of a business that has continued to at least double revenue year on year. Enjoys working closely with business colleagues - integrating financial matters with operational matters Strong attention to detail / highly numerate Analytical and proactive and someone who possess effective communication skills Strong organisational and project management skills
