Overview

A highly regarded Lloyd's market insurer in the City seeks a Reinsurance Technician to administrate reinsurance purchase and recoveries activities. The company have a supportive environment, excellent staff retention and a global presence. As part of a team of eight people, key responsibilities will include reinsurance recoveries for Excess of Loss, Proportional and Facultative accounts, building positive relationships with customers and attaining an understanding of their needs, managing collection and payment of recoveries and managing Aged Debt, production of Risk and Claim Bordereaux, responding to Broker/Reinsurer queries, cover note administration, Management Information (MI) and project work. To apply you will have: Already gained experience of working in a Reinsurance Technician role Experience of working for a Lloyd's syndicate (preferable, but not essential) Good knowledge of Non-Marine class of business Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word Experience of using the LORS system (preferable, but not essential) GCSE English and Maths grade 'C' or above, or equivalent An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines An enthusiastic and energetic approach Good communication skills Teamwork skills
