Junior SQL Developer Our client is looking for a Junior IT whiz who would be keen on being trained as a SQL Developer. Job Summary: To provide assistance within the Patient System Development Team and assisting both the Senior Developer (DBA) and SQL Developer, contributing to the delivery of the IT and information related projects that the Trust is undertaking. Sector: Healthcare Job Type: Temporary Duration: 3 months and likely to be longer Location: Basildon Working days and hours: Monday to Friday / 9:00am 5:00pm Pay Rate: £8.50 PAYE - £10.50 Umbrella Duties Assisting with the development, planning and implementation of the local long-term strategies and programmes which deliver national policy and strategy and that modernises and improves healthcare delivery and performance across the Trust. Maintain an understanding of best practice nationally and internationally to support the strategic development of healthcare services. To ensure this is shared appropriately Assist with the implementation and escalation procedures as appropriate Assist in planning and developing specific data system designs and implementation across the Trust Knowledge Proven ability in the utilisation of SQL to create and alter database elements Awareness and understanding in utilising SQL scripts and SSIS packages to update databases on the server
