Job title: HGV Class 2 Driver Salary Range: £11.00 - £12.00 per hour basic Night out and overtime paid at premium Hours: Days, some early starts, Monday to Friday Location: South Shropshire Contract to Permanent or Straight Permanent role working for leading FMCG organisation A HGV Class 2 driver is required with knowledge and experience of multi drop deliveries throughout the UK. Candidates with experience of hand balling, customer service and driving class 1 or class 2 HGV, LGV vehicles would be well received. Due to ongoing growth our client based in South Shropshire requires a dynamic, leading customer focused Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicle driver. As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you will be required to: Transport goods using a 2018 plate HGV Class 2 DAF Transporting on a multi drop basis, between 4 - 10 drops per day Safe delivery of products to various locations including, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, and Central London When delivering into London a night out is required. Hand balling products in and outbound Maintaining the HGV class 2 vehicle and company standards Remaining legally compliant at all times Represent the company with customers to ensure satisfaction Supplement the day to day instructions received from the site The HGV Class 2 Driver should have the following skills or experience: Appropriate driving licence Driver CPC No more than 6 points on your licence At least 2 years' experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles Own DigiCard Excellent understanding of Driver Transport Legislation Strong Communication Skills; including excellent written and oral English ability Flexible Excellent understanding of UK Geography Professionalism This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with knowledge and experience of HGV Class 2 driving to work for a long-standing corporate organisation with family feel.
