Quality Control Supervisor Immediate interviews and start available Performance BONUS, Private medical, Excellent pension, 25 days holiday ( 8 days bank holidays) ongoing development Due to ongoing investment in product development an opportunity has arisen for a Quality Control (QC) Supervisor to join an established, secure, leading global manufacturer working on their specialist high value equipment. With a background in Quality Control (QC)/ Inspection this is a key role looking after a small team of highly skilled Inspectors and CMM Programmers and providing first-class leadership to ensure the highest level of product quality at all times. As Quality Control Supervisor you will have responsibility for providing leadership and direction to your team, identifying and putting together training programs to maximise their skill set and co-ordinating inspection, calibration an test functions to ensure bottlenecks are minimised. Key accountabilities will include: Leadership of your team of inspectors to support manufacturing, daily inspection through to planning/goods inwards inspection as well as customer acceptance requirements Overseeing inspection, calibration and test, identifying any potential bottleneck and driving actions to maintain acceptable quality levels Building strong communication channels and feedback across the business. This will be with other production supervisors, quality engineers as well as the planning team. Look at ways to improve the efficiency of the inspection and testing operations. To succeed in this interesting role you will be a Supervisor / Team Leader with a quality, Inspection or Quality Control (QC) background. You will ideally be: Apprentice trained or be HNC qualified in Quality Assurance (QA) or Mechanical Engineering or a similar engineering discipline.
