Overview
Cathedral Appointments are currently seeking a Financial Controller to join our client’s leading manufacturing business in the South West. This is a pivotal role in the leadership team that will require you to develop and deliver the company’s trategy and objectives alongside providing leadership to the network’s finance teams. To be successful in this role you will need to be a qualified Accountant with ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent and poseess excellent experience in a finance role involving management and leadership in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Working alongside management teams to develop and implement strategies processes and procedures Providing leadership and management for the finance team Providing financial reporting in a timely, accurate and insightful manner Lead in the development of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans Act as a finance business partner to the leadership team Ensure that business cases are properly prepared Ensure all finance processes and procedures are kept up to date and are in line with group policy Requirements: A fully qualified Accountant with ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent Extensive experience in a management and leadership finance role in a manufacturing environment A fantastic leader and communicator with strong relationship building skills Ability to deliver results with quality and accuracy Good strategic, analytical and commercial acumen Knowledge and understanding of ERP systems Good budgeting and forecasting experience This role will pay a competitive salary and represents a fabulous opportunity to take on an exciting and varied role in a leading business.
