Overview

A local manufacturing business based in East Lancashire are currently looking to recruit an Interim Finance Manager/ Interim Bookkeeper to cover a maternity contract. Experience of Xero or a cloud-based accounting system is essential. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for completing accounts to trial balance, processing payroll and providing financial reports. Other duties include: - Completing accounting and payroll financial reports - Adhering to company compliance - Supporting with preparation of monthly management accounts - Supporting director with complex issues when required - Set up finance systems - Produce purchase and sales invoices - VAT returns - Credit control including debt collection - Monthly bank reconciliations - Support finance team when required Essential experience: - AAT qualified or studying towards - Experience of XERO or Cloud based accounting system - Excellent communication skills - Organised and able to meet tight deadlines - Problem solving skills In return you will be offered a full time position working Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with free parking onsite. Salary range - £24000 - £26,000. Holidays are 20 days 5 statutory days.
