Job description: As Procurement specialist the candidate will be responsible for supporting the business and the category teams with a number of transactional procurement activities. You will be responsible for managing all matters relating to and not limited to the Procurement ERP system, supplier contract management, reviewing and approving low value PRs, on-boarding suppliers, risk assessments. You will also assist the savings planning cycle by assisting with developing the savings methodology, logging monthly savings entries as well as creating quarterly Procurement metrics reports from Power BI. In this role you will become the systems specialist for Procurement at Colt Data Centre Services to ensure the function procurement processes suit the business needs Key Accountabilities •Setup new suppliers onto the Colt DCS procurement system •Maintain suppliers details in Ariba to ensure they are up to date •Review and approve purchase requisitions up to a certain value, and complete PO investigations where required •Deal with general suppliers questions and issues and become the Subject Matter Expert for Colt DCS procurement support •Load and maintain all supplier contracts into the central contract repository •Initiate and perform contract variations or extensions where required •Work with legal services to ensure contracts are negotiated in line with Colt policies •Ensure contracts are recorded and signed by appropriate DCS signing authority •Perform analytics and market research to support the category team •On occasion, perform low value sourcing events (through Ariba) and efficiently manage the tender process from specification stage to the final contract award •Responsible for negotiating low value single source contracts to generate savings and achieve value for money •Support supply risk process by conducting regular supplier checking (Dunn & Bradstreet reports) and manage the VRM portal (Vendor Risk Management tool) •Work with Assistant manager to control and reduce tail spend suppliers •Assist in development of the Colt DCS savings methodology tool and maintain management of logging and reporting savings •Develop and own distribution of quarterly procurement reporting metrics packs Required profile: •Self-motivated with inner drive and determination •Flexible and proactive attitude •Strong team player as well as an individual contributor. •The candidate should have excellent communication skills and Behavioural skills. •Minimum 2 years’ experience in Procurement •Experience of working effectively within a fast moving, multi-national organisation •Good hands on experience with SAP Ariba or similar system. •Experience of Vendor Management Process and Execution •Experience using DocuSign or similar contract tool •Relevant experience of dealing with pan-European suppliers in a procurement, supply chain or commercial management capacity •Excellent English, both oral and written, is a pre-requisite; another European language would be advantageous but not an essential requirement •Good negotiation skills and some legal understanding •Proven ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines •Ability to understand and respect diverse European cultures What we offer: 25 Days holiday rising to 30 with service Private Healthcare Income Protection 10% Bonus 2Volunteering days
