Their vision is to be their customers first choice for the manufacture of their mission critical, high technology electronics adding value globally Your new role To support the quality manager in the development and maintenance of the Business Management Systems, ensuring the companies adherence to and understanding of relevant international accreditation, primarily the ISO9001, AS9100, IS0 13485 (Medical Devices) accreditation and other schemes or programs which arise through customer or market needs of the business, such as IATf14969 or ISO 14001. To assist in the development of a continuous improvement culture throughout the business and to support the introduction of customer-led Quality initiatives such as total preventative maintenance and yield analysis Primary Roles & Responsibilities To assist the quality manager in the formulation and control of a business management systems that addresses the requirements of AS9100, ISO9001, ISO 14001 for the business. To support the quality manager in the communication of the requirements of the respective stands to management and all employees ensuring that a sound understanding of these requirements Is maintained, at all levels. To support the quality manager in the induction of an IATF 16949 accredited quality systems and to support other associated customer led quality initiatives To support the quality manager in the management and interfacing of customer quality representatives, where necessary liaising directly with them by telephone or email. To act as the document controller in the management and release of the business management system documentation into the company intranet, to ensure that the processes and procedures are optimized and make best use of combined activities, such as audit and review, to promote adherence of documentation to relevant quality standards. To manage the internal audits programme ensuring that internal audits are planned, conducted and reported, and that all resulting non-conformance's are closed in a timely and effective manner. In conjunction with the purchasing group, develop the supply chain quality activities by both quantifying supplier risk and ensuring that all reported problems are considered and appropriate actions assigned, both internally and externally within the supply chain Within the development and maintenance of the system assume responsibility for the following principle activities What you'll need to succeed Formal education - Degree Level preferred (Minimum Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Electronics / electrical engineering Ideally holds IPC Qualifications in electronics engineering or equivalent Ideally hold a CQI or other recognized qualification in Quality Management Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment ideally within the electronics manufacturing sector Proficient in Microsoft Office, data handling and analysis Expertise in communication and negotiation What you'll get in return Competitive salary Company progression Company benefits What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
