Quality Engineer Permanent £30,000 - £35,000 My Client is an established Manufacture within the Electronics Industry, its business as usual for them in these uncertain times and they have never been busier, looking for an experience Quality Engineer to join the team supporting the Quality Manger on Various tasks. The Main duties for the Quality Engineer will be: To assist the Quality Manager in the formulation and control of a business management system that addresses the requirements of AS9100, IS09001, ISO 13485 and ISO 14001 for the business. To support the Quality Manager in the communication of the requirements of the respective standards to Management and all employees ensuring that a sound understanding of these requirements is maintained, at all levels. To support the Quality Manager in the introduction of an IATF 16949 accredited Quality System and to Support other customer led quality tasks. To support the Quality Manager in the management and interfacing of customer quality representatives, where necessary liaising directly with them by telephone or email. To act as the Document Controller in the management and release of the Business Management System documentation into the company intranet, to ensure that the processes and procedures are optimised and make best use of combined activities, such as Audit and Review, to promote adherence of documentation to relevant Quality Standards. In conjunction with the Purchasing group, develop the Supply Chain Quality activities by both quantifying Supplier Risk and ensuring that all reported problems are considered, and appropriate actions assigned, both internally and externally within the Supply Chain. To be the successful Quality Engineer you will have the following skills & experience: Team player, happy to support in all aspects of Quality throughout the company Formal education - Degree Level preferred (Minimum Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Electronics/ Electrical Engineering). Ideally holds IPC qualifications in electronics engineering or equivalent. Ideally prepared to hold a CQI or other recognised qualification in Quality Management. Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment ideally within the electronics Manufacturing Sector. Proficient in Microsoft Office, data handling and analysis. Expertise in communication and negotiation.
