Overview
Staffline is recruiting for a Production Operative to work at our client's busy bakery site in Erith. You will be required to work any 5 days out of 7 to cover and meet business requirements and the hours of work are 6am to 6pm, or 6pm to 6am. For day shifts, you will be paid £8.72 per hour and for night shifts you will earn £8.82 per hour. With overtime you have the opportunity to earn £10.62 on days and £10.76 on nights. No previous experience necessary as full training will be provided. Your time at work As a Production Operative at this site, you will work on a busy production line packing and stacking bread rolls, hot cross buns and muffins into bread baskets. Other duties will include: Ensuring no cross contamination of the product at all stages of the process Packing, loading and unloading of products You'll also help maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of all factory areas. This is a very fast-paced role and so you will need to move quickly in order to keep up with production. Our perfect worker Our ideal Production Operative has a flexible approach to working hours and can work in an accurate and timely manner. You should be punctual, to ensure that you are ready at the production line when your shift starts. It is essential that Production Operatives are dexterous and quick-thinking to be successful in this role. You must be able to read, write, and speak English at a good level, as you'll be required to complete a 3-hour induction before starting work at the site. You'll adhere to all Health & Safety and Food Hygiene processes and procedures. No previous experience is necessary as you'll receive full training. Those who hold a Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate are preferred.
