Overview
Global Accounting Network are currently partnered with a globally renowned Ecommerce business, who are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst to join their team in their Central London headquarters. The business has been consistently growing and this role will support with this growth and increased complexity. This role will take responsibility for the controllership and accounting function in support of the UK operations. The individual in this role will also continue to dive cross-border projects and develop best in class processes and controllership on an international level. The role is roughly broken down to around 30-40% of your time being focused around month end and reporting, whilst the rest of the time will be focused around delivering projects. A successful candidate in this position will have demonstrable experience with financial reporting and internal control related responsibilities. Responsibilities include: Ownership of month end close activities Support internal and external financial reporting needs Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. Direct responsibility for improving accounting processes and controls for a company with a high volume of transactions. Contributing in cross functional project launches from beginning to end Key stakeholder communication and management The ideal candidate for the position will have: ACA/ACCA/CA/CIMA/CPA qualification Ideally experience working for one of the "Big 4" accounting firms Exposure to operational accounting concepts of inventory, procurement, payables, receivables, and revenue Experience working within a fast-paced company Excellent communication skills Ability to dive deep into data, and with a track record of utilising data to aid decision making This is a great opportunity to join an internationally renowned company in an extremely varied role, which will give the individual great exposure to various projects and the broader business.
