Overview

We at The Huntercombe Group are looking for a Maintenance Person who will positively promote excellent health and safety standards within and around the hospital, supporting the Head of Support Services to maintain a safe environment for patients in our care. Key Accountabilities: Ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the Central and surrounding grounds providing an excellent first Impression to all who visit Maintaining the smooth operation and serviceability of all utilities such as heating, lighting, plumbing and non-medical equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these services to the Hospital Working positively with the Hosptial Manager and Estates Manager to achieve the desired outcomes for longer-term tasks such as refurbishments and the non- day-to-day service elements of the Hospital i.e. redecoration Taking an active role in the monitoring of any risk areas regarding the Hospital operations and security Maintaining the Hosptial as a pleasant, friendly and secure place to live To coordinate all reactive and planned maintenance/ repairs throughout the Hospital Full UK driving licence required This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with an on call rota to cover 24 hour support, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
