Travel/ Occupational Health Nurse Location: Liverpool Salary: £25,922 - £30,358 per annum (dependent upon experience) pro-rata Job Type: One full time post of 35 hours or 2 part time posts of 16/18 hours. Permanent appointment Responsibilities of the Travel/Occupational Health Nurse: You will be responsible for carrying out individualised risk assessments to travellers, providing up to date, evidence-based information, advice and education to clients of the travel clinic and assisting with the maintenance of quality standards within the clinic. To work flexibly between Monday-Saturday to fit the needs of the clinic schedules. This will involve being part of rota for clinics on some weekday evenings (until 7pm) and 2 to 3 Saturdays per month 9am-1pm) Requirements of the Travel/Occupational Health Nurse: You will be a Registered Nurse, with at least one year’s post registration experience. Experience of carrying out injections is essential while immunisation and venepuncture is desirable, however training will be provided for the right candidate/s. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of people and explain information simply is required. You should have an understanding of and a commitment to providing high standards of client care.
