Overview
Work as Lead Nurse / Unit Manager within a specialist, complex nursing service in Stoke-on-Trent. The Service provides care for adults with complex needs including brain injuries & stroke rehabilitation, complex dementia, mental health and neuro disabilities. The Service has been rated as GOOD with the CQC. We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD Qualified), with a current NMC Pin number and a passion for providing high standards of care. You will be well organised, able to make decisions and work on your own initiative whilst working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. As Lead Nurse / Unit Manager, you will be up-to-date with current evidence-based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC standards and regulations. As a Lead Nurse / Unit Manager, you will take the role of a senior nurse on duty and have responsibility for a team of nursing and care staff. You will lead by example, delivering hands-on nursing care and providing strong leadership to your team. You will have a person centred ethos and be committed to enriching the lives of the individuals in your care. The role of Unit Manager / Clinical Lead is full time working 3 shifts one week and 4 the next with a contract of 42 hours. The role is day shifts but as this is a senior position, we are looking for someone who is also flexible to cover nights if requested. The salary is at a competitive rate of £18ph, the annual salary is £36,000 plus benefits.
