Overview

The Boys’ Division is seeking to appoint a Senior Physics Technician or Physics Technician for the busy Science Department. The main duties will include providing equipment and other practical requirements for the teaching and learning of Physics, assembling and testing apparatus for class experiments and demonstrating practicals as required by members of the teaching staff. Following this the Technician will need to clear away the experiments, and to clean and store equipment. Proven experience of working in a laboratory is essential, and applicants should hold recognised qualifications in one or more Science subjects. The successful candidate will be flexible and able to work in a team. For consideration for the Senior Physics Technician role, the successful candidate will need to have a proven physics background.
